Connect everything with everything - using the edge.UNIFYOR
If you follow current trend studies, you're aware that the next generation of system integration will implement OPC-UA from the control level upwards. This enables the detailed use of data from a wide variety of sources, which in turn leads to improved analyses. In addition, this approach enables entire production processes to be optimized across plants, with a holistic view of the supply chain.
First questions we ask in this context
Is it easy for you to collect and use data from old production machines?
Can you access your production data in real time and intervene if necessary?
Are your production machine data already available in a standardized language?
Create corporate value from your data
Many industrial companies want to keep their IT infrastructure leaner and want to use standardized interfaces. Their data is generated by different controls from different manufacturers and is integrated into MES solutions. Every machine in a line should be MES-capable, and the units should be able to communicate with one another, regardless of their year of construction and their communication protocol. To this end, central communication between all machines and systems needs to be established.
With the edge.UNIFYOR, we're offering a suitable solution for use in the Industry 4.0 environment to connect all existing machines and systems, and even third-party elements, to the MESystem as well as to software platforms, such as SAP. Distributed installation of the lean software gateway on the MESystem's most common operator terminals and the direct connection of the MES clients builds a harmonized software architecture that enables you to create company value from your data.

Universally applicable - thanks to interoperability

to create value
In its core function, edge.UNIFYOR offers the standardization of a wide variety of production data in one output language. The data collected is abstracted in real-time, and each aggregated data point contains the current value, a unit, a time stamp, and a status. This data can then be processed as needed by the respective application, e.g., for monitoring, analysis, scaling, conversions, threshold monitoring, the use of conditions, or simply for logging purposes.
Our edge.UNIFYOR supports a variety of protocols, such as for PLC connection or forwarding via OPC-UA. With broad interface integration and platform-agnostic use, we're aiming for a solution that is interoperable and easily integrates into your existing system, without any vendor lock.
